Bright saturated ruby. Fresh, deep blackcurrant, cedar and mineral aromas are complicated by hints of coffee and violet. Dense and chewy, showing lovely depth of sweet dark cherry, cedar and mineral flavors. This serious, mouthfilling Pomerol finishes with lovely aromatic persistence and big, building tannins that coat the palate dry. This needs time for the tannins to resolve: I wouldn't touch a bottle for at least another five years.
