Bright red. High-pitched aromas of black raspberry and cherry are complemented by sexy Asian spice and rose nuances. Sappy and expansive, offering plump red fruit flavors that put on weight and pick up spiciness with air. Weightier on the finish, which features floral pastille and bitter cherry qualities. I find this wine pretty alluring right now but its depth suggests that it'll be even better with a few years more of bottle age. There was no new oak used in raising this wine.
