About Bonny Doon Vineyard

Iconoclast Randall Grahm made his name as one of the original Rhône Rangers in California. When he purchased land in the Santa Cruz Mountains in the early ‘80s his dream was actually to develop great American Pinot Noir. This feat temporarily eluded him, but what he developed was a knack for lesser-grown, Mediterranean varieties.

(73% grenache, 10% mourvedre, 8% grenache blanc, 5% roussanne and 4% cinsault):  Pale orange.  High-pitched aromas of redcurrant, orange zest and white flowers, with a peppery topnote.  Dry and precise, offering energetic red berry flavors and a touch of bitter cherry.  Silky and penetrating rose with good finishing cling and vivacity.
