87 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2012

(15.8% alcohol):  Good medium red.  Sweet aromas of plum and oak.  Fat and sweet in the mouth, but showing more chocolate and nutty oak than primary fruit character.  A rather simple, chunky wine with modest definition and lift.  Finishes with substantial dusty, wood-powered tannins that turn a bit dry on the back, and a suggestion of alcoholic warmth.
