Pale gold. Aromas of candied peach, nutmeg and crushed stone, with hints of sea shell and orange blossom. Dusty, spicy and dry, with saline minerality and a bit of unabsorbed CO2 giving the middle palate a rather uncompromising quality. Fresh acidity accentuates the wine's firm edge. I wanted a bit more fruit.
