Youthful purple.  Powerful black and blue fruit scents are complicated by candied violet and licorice, with a peppery quality adding energy.  Rich and velvety in texture, offering good depth to its smoky cherry and blueberry flavors.  Shows good energy on the broad, gently tannic, nicely persistent finish.
