2010 Patz & Hall Wine Company Chardonnay Cherry Ridge Vineyard Russian River Valley
Producer: Patz & Hall Wine Company
Style: White Wine
Grape Type: Chardonnay
Origin: California
Region: Sonoma
Appellation: Russian River Valley
92 Points | International Wine Cellar , May/June 2012
Pure, fresh aromas of pineapple, lemon drop and orange blossom. Juicy and tactile, with lovely acidity giving cut and lift to the intense lemon blossom and spice flavors. Very showy chardonnay from six-year-old vines planted on a north-facing slope in Green Valley. Finishes savory, firm and long, with persistent, palate-coating fruit and very good grip. I especially like the energy of this chardonnay.
