(from "31-year-old Hyde Vineyard vine selections"):  Bright, pale yellow.  High-pitched aromas and flavors of fresh apricot, ripe peach, dusty spices and lavender, along with a honeyed quality that reminded me of noble rot.  Densely packed, tactile and deep, with a sexy smoky element adding interest to the middle palate.  Sweeter than the De La Guerra bottling but still quite dry.  And much more evidence of fruit on the broad, firm back end.
