(made from a field blend of 56-year-old vines:  gewurztraminer, trousseau gris, riesling and "others"):  Light gold.  An exotic, highly perfumed nose displays poached pear, nectarine and honey, with a dusty mineral overtone.  Juicy and broad on entry but tighter in the mid-palate, offering an array of sweet citrus and orchard fruit flavors and a hint of bitter fruit pit.  A floral quality lingers on the lush, expansive finish.
