(70% grenache and 30% syrah):  Inky ruby.  Spice-accented aromas of black raspberry and mocha.  Sappy and refreshingly bitter, offering cherry pit and dark berry flavors lifted by a peppery nuance.  On the jammy side but loaded with appealing fruit.  Closes with good cling, gentle tannic grip and lingering spiciness.
