92 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - May/June 2012

(100% cabernet sauvignon, from the Oak Knoll District):  Good dark red.  Highly aromatic nose exudes black cherry and violet.  Juicy, spicy and penetrating, with lively but well-integrated acidity giving early appeal to the flavors of cassis, blackberry, violet, spices and bitter chocolate and extending the fruit on the aftertaste.  There's an enticing perfume here that struck me as almost cabernet franc-like.  Finishes with very good juicy cut and spicy persistence.
