Inky ruby.  Fresh dark berry and cracked pepper scents, plus a subtle note of dried rose.  Light-bodied, tangy blackberry and cherry skin flavors are firmed by lively acidity and offer good straightforward appeal.  Finishes slightly tart, leaving licorice and bitter cherry notes behind.
