(raised in older barriques):  Opaque ruby.  Intense dark berry preserve and olive aromas, complicated by suave floral and spice notes.  Fleshy, expansive blueberry and boysenberry flavors show very good energy and a seamless texture.  Pure and refreshing syrah with solid finishing punch, sneaky depth and lingering spiciness.  This wine shows more than a little of its Jamet lineage.
