Bright ruby-red.  Highly perfumed aromas of black raspberry, potpourri and woodsmoke are complicated by notes of coffee, mocha and star anise.  Offers a suave combination of richness and energy, with dark berry liqueur and floral pastille flavors energized by zesty minerality.  Sharply focused, vibrant and smooth on the gently tannic, clinging finish, which emphasizes fresh dark berries and spicecake.
