Moderately saturated medium red.  Perfumed aromas of red cherry, redcurrant, spices, earth and dried flowers show a lightly decadent marzipan quality.  Silky on entry, then laid-back and delicately perfumed in the middle, with a restrained sweetness to the seamless red fruit and saline mineral flavors.  Finishes firmly tannic, long and sophisticated, with captivating lingering perfume.  I'd hold this beauty for three or four years before pulling the cork.
