Full ruby.  Cherry and blackcurrant aromas are complemented by notes of black pepper, pipe tobacco and musky herbs.  Expressive and gently sweet on the palate, offering smooth dark fruit flavors and a touch of mint.  Finishes on a bitter cherry note, with very good focus and clinging tannins.
