If you come to Raptor Ridge hoping to find a fossil between the rows of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, you’ll be sorely disappointed. The estate gets its name from the many birds of prey native to the area—red tailed hawks, kestrels, owls and more. In addition to the birds, you’ll also find elegant, structured Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Gruner Veltliner.

Vivid red. Redcurrant and cherry pit on the spicy nose and in the mouth. Tangy, focused and dry, showing good clarity and a slightly tart quality to the finish. I'd have liked a bit more sweetness.
