About Louis Michel & Fils
In six generations of winemaking here in Chablis, the Michel family has developed a no nonsense approach. You won't find the distracting presence of oak in these immaculate Chardonnays, because no wood is used in their cellaring.
86-88 Points | International Wine Cellar , July/August 2012
Pale yellow. Aromas of lemon, lime, musky white flowers, anise and ginger. Supple and moderately concentrated but a bit lacking in personality today. Finishes slightly dry-edged. Two thousand eleven brought a fairly full crop here, as elsewhere, and this wine does not show the intensity of the best years.
