About Domaine Jean-Paul & Benoit Droin
Benoit Droin represents the 14th Droin generation to make wine in Chablis. The family has been here, making wine, for nearly five centuries, dating all the way back to 1620. Since 2002, however, the estate has taken new form; Domain Jean-Paul and Benoit Droin was formed officially in 2002.

Bright yellow. Soil-driven aromas of oyster shell and iodine, with a touch of yeast; less fruity than this wine appeared to be a year ago. Then rich and generous in the mouth, with good acidity giving shape to the soft citrus and cut hay flavors. No shortage of concentration here.
