More About This Wine
Founded in the early 1700s, Lisini's sprawling estate is ringed by some of the most rustic terrain in Tuscany. Filippo Paoletti handles the everyday winemaking activities here, helping the estate produce a consistently solid, traditional Brunello, made from the estate's oldest vines, some of which have reached 70.

Good full red. Plum, tar, mint and sexy oak tones on the mellow nose. Deep, dense and sappy; seriously concentrated and rich in extract, with a complicating hint of saline minerality and noteworthy inner-mouth energy. Very clean, intensely flavored wine with a long, rising finish featuring suave tannins and a hint of leather. This one needs at least three or four years in the cellar.
