Bright ruby-red.  Intense, smoke-accented aromas of cherry-cola, blackberry and licorice.  Deeply pitched but energetic, offering incisive red and dark berry flavors and notes of vanilla and mocha.  A floral nuance builds with air and carries through the long, sweet, spicy finish.  For a powerful wine this shows very good vivacity.
