Dark purple.  Cassis, cherry, lavender and smoky oak on the explosively perfumed nose.  Very sweet, deeply pitched flavors of dark berry preserves, bitter chocolate and licorice, given shape and liveliness by sappy, harmonious acids.  Broad, lush and full but also shows superb energy, finishing long, focused and sweet, with fine-grained tannins and alluring florality.
