About Domaine William Fevre
Fevre was once good. Now it's great. In fact, the improvement of this house is one of the most exciting developments in Chablis in the past 20 years. The ownership of the Henriot family of Champagne, which also owns Bouchard Père et Fils in Beaune, has resulted in a striking transformation.
2011 Domaine William Fevre Chablis Mont de Milieu

90-92 Points | International Wine Cellar , July/August 2012
(a domain bottling since 2010 through a fermage arrangement; from 60-year-old vines): Pale yellow with a green tinge. Bright but tight nose hints at crushed stone, minerals, pepper and herbs. Then surprisingly fat and sweet in the mouth, with a flavor of peach syrup lifted by spearmint and mineral qualities. Turns quite firm on the back end, finishing with dusty minerality and a distinct nervosite. Just 40 hectoliters per hectare produced in '11, according to Seguier.
