Deep ruby. Pungent, spice-accented aromas of cherry, cassis and tobacco, with floral and cedar accents. Sappy and expansive, offering sweet red and dark berry flavors and a touch of vanilla. Closes with very good energy and grip, leaving smoke and cherry notes behind. This wine has the depth to age but is showing surprisingly well right now.
