Saturated ruby.  Singed cherry, cassis and blackberry aromas are pungent and impressively expansive.  Intense, spicy and plush, with deep dark fruit compote flavors, supple texture and serious back end power.  Explodes on the finish, with intense blackcurrant and cola tones and outstanding persistence.  By all means give this wine some bottle age.
