Good saturated medium ruby. Enticing aromas of raspberry, black tea, gunpowder, licorice and violet. At once smooth, sweet and nicely delineated, with good lift to the mineral red berry and lightly saline flavors. Finishes with sweet tannins and sneaky persistence. Great stuff for an entry-level wine.
