Medium saturated dark ruby.  Smoky red cherry and peony aromas are complicated by ink, cocoa and herbs on the aromatic nose.  Then creamy and superripe in the middle, with a hint of game adding complexity to the chocolatey red berry and underbrush flavors.  Finishes with utterly suave, mounting tannins.
