(sourced from vines that are reportedly over a century old):  Bright purple.  Explosive aromas of candied blackberry and boysenberry, with seductive incense and spicecake accents and notes of vanilla, incense and licorice.  Presents an array of black and blue fruits on the palate, with superb concentration and energy.  At once rich and lively, with lush, pliant tannins that fold into the dark fruit on the clinging finish.
