Inky purple.   Blackberry, blueberry, incense and dark chocolate aromas are lifted by a violet topnote.   Ripe and fleshy but energetic, with sweet black and blue fruit and bitter chocolate flavors staining the palate.  Finishes with supple, harmonious tannins and excellent, floral-dominated persistence.
