(sangiovese and canaiolo nero; 14%alcohol):  Bright red. Complex, penetrating aromas of redcurrant, cinnamon, gunflint and violet. Fresh, deep and sweet, with amazingly pure sangiovese flavors of sweet red cherry, candied violet and scorched earth.  Really wonderful inner-mouth perfume here. The long finish of this great wine features vibrant acidity and smooth tannins.
