(100% sangiovese): Good full, deep red. Sexy nose offers bitter red cherry, raspberry, rose petal and a whiff of loam. Juicy, sweet and enticing, with lovely elegance and energy to the flavors of red fruits and candied ginger. Firm but harmonious tannins stand out on the rising, very pure finish. This essence of sangiovese is a remarkably successful wine in this vintage.
