Light, green-tinged gold.  Intense aromas of white flowers, lime zest, pear and minerals, with a spicy overtone.  Dry, racy and precise on entry, then deeper in the mid-palate, offering sappy orchard fruit and floral flavors and a touch of ginger.  Finishes smooth and long, with resonating floral and spice notes.  This wine ages well, by the way, as a recent bottle of the 2008 I drank recently will attest.
