(90% tempranillo and 10% syrah):  Opaque ruby.  Intense, spice-accented aromas of cherry, boysenberry and vanilla, with a smoky topnote.  Fleshy and supple in texture, offering ripe dark berry flavors that show liqueur-like density.  Gentle acidity adds lift and cut to a long, smoky finish with notes of cherry and cola.  For a rich, ripe wine this is showing lovely finesse.
