Producer: Domaine Barmes-Buecher
Style: White Wine
Grape Type: Riesling
Origin: France
Region: Alsace
91 Points | International Wine Cellar , September 2012
Golden yellow. Slightly compressed aromas of lemon ice, candied pineapple and sautéed mushroom. Then sweeter and richer, like a VT, on the palate, showing flavors of ripe banana, pineapple and canned peach. Finishes long and velvety, with bright acidity. These vines are situated on the plain of Turckheim in a very hot, early maturing microclimate and are always the first to be harvested at this estate.
