Medium red.  Musky dark raspberry, wild herbs and smoke on the nose.  Big, plush and deep; the broadest of these 2011 pinots but not yet showing its fruit on the palate.  Darker in character than the foregoing samples and structured to evolve slowly in bottle.  Finishes with substantial dusty tannins and excellent length.
