96 Points | International Wine Cellar , September/October 2012

(86% tempranillo and 14% garnacha, from the estate's oldest vines; aged for 18 months in new French oak; 15% alcohol):  Inky purple.  An exotically perfumed bouquet evokes dark berry preserves, incense and lavender, with a bright mineral overtone.  Sappy, penetrating black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors show excellent depth and energy, picking up floral pastille and vanilla nuances with air.  Finishes with superb clarity, subtle tannins and outstanding, floral-driven persistence.
