(70% garnacha and 30% carinena, from a five-hectare vineyard that produces enough grapes to make about 100 cases of wine; aged for 15 months in large French oak):  Vivid ruby.  Highly perfumed, seductive aromas of fresh red berries, minerals, lavender, blood orange and Asian spices.  Sappy raspberry and cherry flavors show impressive depth and intensity, along with a slow-mounting floral quality.  Strikingly pure and energetic wine with excellent finishing cut and spicy persistence.
