Pale bright yellow.  Fascinating aromas of pungent pineapple and resiny illegal herb, along with a semillon waxiness.  Ripe, rich and concentrated, with compelling sweetness nicely countered by limey lift.  Generous flavors of lemon, orange, resiny spices and herbs are complicated by a whiff of white pepper.  Finishes very long and subtle.  There's no rush to drink this, but this is an essentially gentle vintage for this perennial star.
