93 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2012

(39% grenache, 35% syrah and 26% mourvedre):  Vivid ruby-red.  Explosive, appealing scents and flavors of ripe cherry, candied raspberry and Asian spices; really showing its grenache component today.  A perfumed floral nuance comes up with air and carries through a very long, spicy, sharply focused finish.  As sexy as this wine is right now, I suspect it will be even better with a couple years in the cellar.
