Deep red.  Oak-spiced aromas and flavors of cherry and dark berries, with a musky beetroot nuance emerging with aeration.  Sweet and expansive but a bit hot, finishing with good length and lingering smokiness.

In my experience, this is an unusually big and rich Pinot Noir. The Parker review seems pretty accurate, but there is some bitterness on the palate which dissipates with air, and the finish is a bit hot. I believe it will improve with cellaring, perhaps a couple of years. For now, decant at least half an hour.

Surprisingly firm backbone of tannin and structure along with the blackberry fruit. Drinkable now, but might cellar well.
