Exceptional. Rich, complex, thick flavors. Almost the strengths of a zinfandel, with the subtle nuance and complexity that only comes from Pinot Noir. Definitely a favorite, should have ordered more!
A huge hit

Shared with my wine snob friends who were all knocked out. Smooth, mellow, consistent from sip to swallow, outstanding bouquet, well rounded, surprising depth for a pinot noir.
Not overpowering

This is a lovely Pinot. Drinking beautifully now. I'm struggling to make sure I keep enough around for Thanksgiving dinner.

Well structured Pinot . Not light and kool aidey, but definitely a new world not old world style wine. Tasting notes were spot on.

Gave this 6-months cellar time before trying. Overpowering when first poured, lacking Burgandy's finesse. Tannins and leather held sway. Took an hour and a half to settle in...and then strutted it's stuff. Still a mouthful for pinot, but fleshing out. Probably best with veal or duck right now if you must try. Will wait another 8-12 months to savor the next bottle, great potential.

Pinot Noir

Adored by critics, prized by collectors, Pinot Noir is one of most tantalizing yet temperamental varietals in the world. For many wine enthusiasts, this is part of the appeal of Pinot -- it doesn't reveal its charms easily. Pinot Noir's virtue also stems from the unique characteristics of the grape. The skins are especially delicate, which accounts for the lighter color and body of finished wine. But, despite the delicacy, the best wines have excellent backbone and...
