(100% monastrell):  Brilliant ruby.  Intense, primary aromas of dark berries and violet, with a spicy topnote.  On the palate, spicy boysenberry and cherry compote flavors are complicated by subtle licorice and cracked pepper nuances.  Closes on a sweet note, with very good liveliness and length.
