(a 60/40 blend):  Inky ruby.  Cherry, cassis and sandalwood on the seductively perfumed nose.  Lush and expansive but lively, offering sweet black and blue fruit flavors and a touch of bitter chocolate.  Finishes smooth and plaint, with notes of oak spice and gentle tannins.  This drinks extremely well right now.  Chidaine, who is one of the best producers in the central Loire Valley of France, oversees this Spanish venture in Murcia, which is where his wife Manuela grew up.
