(100% tempranillo, raised for 24 months in American oak barriques): Deep ruby. Smoke- and spice-accented aromas of candied cherry, sassafras and potpourri, with subtle cured meat and mineral notes building with air. Rich but vibrant, offering sweet dark fruit flavors that gain energy and spiciness in the glass. Chewy tannins add grip the sweet, powerfully long finish. This is still a baby.
