(86% tempranillo, 7% cabernet sauvignon and 7% merlot, aged for 16 months in new French oak):  Opaque ruby.  Expressive bouquet of dark berries, cherry pit and mocha, with a smoky overtone.  Supple, suave and seamless, with appealing sweetness to its blackcurrant and floral pastille flavors.  Finishes with smooth, building tannins and a lingering note of bitter chocolate.
