88 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - August 2012

(85% sangiovese and 15% ciliegiolo):  Bright red.  Raspberry and red cherry on the nose and palate, with a spicy note adding vibrancy.  Taut and linear on entry, then fleshier in the middle, with dusty tannins adding grip.  Finishes brisk and juicy, with a repeating red cherry quality.
