New Year's Eve 2013/2014 Pinot Noir tasting

This was the top wine of the six Chad Pinot Noirs tasted. It was almost full-bodied with cherry, raspberry, and smoke flavors. It will be great to see how the rest of the case develops.

Wow. This is about as good as Carneros gets. I couldn't believe the depth of flavors and fruit in this wine. Extremely well made. Pure silk on the palate. Primary flaw is a lack of tannic structure that is hard to overlook. Obviously crafted from a great growing season.

This Bottle had even more body and comlpexity which I attribute to the wines having a bit more resting time after shipping. The wine is drinking like a 30+ wine
