Bright fruit but young

I agree with Jarman, but I would emphasize the bright fruit on the palate that has not yet integrated with the earth and brambles. I agree this will be better in about a year.
Youthful exuberance needs time

Opened a few days after taking delivery. The color is a brilliant sparkling ruby, on the nose, earthy dark brambly notes; on the palate, quite densely extracted, sharp berry notes, acidity, a lot of edges that will round with age; overall I think it will be way better with some time in bottle to bring everything into balance.
