This wine blew away guests at a recent holiday dinner party. The Three Mataro complimented the Cioppino perfectly. The wine was tastefully extracted, with a pleasant mouthfeel and long finish. This must be the best new world Grenache available, certainly the best in the Americas.

A bright forward wine that is somewhere between zin and CNDP. Cherry, blueberry, bramble flavors predominate. Drink now and don't think about it too much, just enjoy.

Very licorice overtones

Though the wine was very smooth, I was struck by the strong licorice overtones. I will have to continue to sample this wine to determine whether I like it or not (I usually drink Malbec

Opened and served with steak. Wine is young and needed time to open up. Nice mellow tannins and good balance. Not heavy fruit

This wine was not as dark red as I thought it would be. Also it was a little weak in flavor and had a short Finnish.
