About Chateau Angelus
From the vineyards at Chateau Angelus, one can hear the smiling, Angelus bells of three surrounding churches, and since 1985, it certainly seems like someone, or something, has been smiling down on this magnificent terroir.

Region: Bordeaux
Appellation: Saint Emilion
91-94 Points | International Wine Cellar , May/June 2011
(a blend of 55% merlot and 45% cabernet franc) Very deep purple-ruby. Sexy, oak-spiced black cherry and blackberry aromas are accented by mocha and vanilla, with a sneaky violet note emerging with air. Concentrated cassis and oaky flavors are impressively bright, with tangy minerality adding energy. Balanced and suave, showing impressive finishing length, with mounting, slightly drying tannins.
